• An on-line virtual calculator will be available at the time of exam. no external scientific calculator will be allowed. the on-line virtual calculator will be put on GATE 2016 website for practice before the exam.
• After completion of GATE 2016 examination, student can challenge answer key as per official record for a short time. every answer key can be challenged after paying a nominal fees.
• A new paper petroleum engineering (PE) is introduces in GATE 2016.
• The entire process of filling up of application form, uploading of certificate/documents etc. will be strictly on-line.
• All the papers in GATE 2016 will be conducted by an on-line computer based test (CBT).
